The latches can be sealed by tie raps, plombs, or lockers. The anticipated shelf life is 18 months, which may be reduced down to 12 months due to the availability of medicine production lots.

The first aid kit PNR 6240-35 was especially designed to be stored in the overhead stowage compartment,consuming as little space as possible. The kit is manufactured of aluminum sheets (coated in grey) and aluminum sections. The latches can be sealed by tie raps, plombs, or lockers. The first aid kit PNR 6240-45 is made of a more light weight box (coated in white) and Airbus single aisle standard layout equipment. Form Fit and Function are identical to 6240-35. The anticipated shelf life is 18 months, which may be reduced down to 12 months due to the availability of medicine production lots.

The long range first aid kit PNR 6240-31gives high degree of flexibility for contents customerization. Half of the size is required to comply with the EU-OPS and FAR-121 requirements.
